What happens when I am ready to leave storage?
Simply contact our operations team and we will arrange re-delivery of your Smartbox. You also have the option of taking advantage of our unloading service or emptying your Smartbox on site at our secure warehouses.
How long can I have my Smartbox stored for?
We can take care of your Smartbox for as long as you like. It will be locked in our secure storage facility until you need it back.
Is anything not permitted?
Hazardous or flammable materials like petrol, oil, paint, LPG gas cylinders, scuba tanks and high capacity Lithium-Ion batteries are not permitted within your storage consignment.
Do I need ID to enter the storage facility?
You need to make an appointment with Smartbox to enter the storage facility to retrieve or add items into your Smartbox storage module. You will be asked for ID so we can ensure your belongings are not accessed by an unauthorised person.
Does Smartbox storage units have CCTV?
Yes! There is 24/7 coverage so your personal items are protected.
How can I access my Smartbox?
Accessing your Smartbox at our warehouse is easy and free. Just give us a call in advance with 2 working days’ notice, and we will arrange for your unit to be available for access at our warehouse within business hours.
We will require at least 2 weeks notice when having the unit brought to your residence for access (this may incur a varying fee based on your proximity to our warehouse).
